Pesaro is the capital of Pesaro e Urbino Province in Le Marche region and sits on the Adriatic sea, 32 km south of Rimini.
Located on the East Italian coast, Le Marche is for many the most picturesque region in Italy. The area offers all the best aspects of Italian lifestyle and tradition.
The most well known city of the area is Ancona, which is often the first destination travellers arrive at. A little south of Ancona you can find the unspoiled nature reserve Monte Conero and the so-called Riviera del Conero, which is the coastal area around Portonovo.
Le Marche is a particularly multifaceted part in Central Italy with beautiful mountains and white sandy beaches on the Adriatic Sea. The mostly untouched natural environment in the National Reserve is protected by the WWF and offer an amazing experience for hikers. The gently rolling hills of Piceno are covered in vineyards and orchards, whose farmhouses offer genuine tastes of the past.
